Max Payne 2 VR mod gets a new trailer, and the download is up
Evilsheep's Max Payne 2 VR mod has a fresh trailer, and the build is already on the project's GitHub releases page.
A new trailer just dropped for the Max Payne 2 VR mod by Evilsheep, and the download is already live. The post hit r/virtualreality, so this one is worth a look if you want to try the mod, not just watch it.
The trailer sits on YouTube. The Reddit post itself is short. It came from /u/Disc81, and it says little more than “cool new trailer” plus a link to the releases page. There’s no version number, no list of supported headsets, and no changelog in the post. If you want those details, you’ll have to read the release page yourself.
Why should a hobbyist care? Because this is the flat-to-VR scene doing what it does best. Somebody takes a finished game that never had VR in mind and gives it a new life. Not long ago, that meant a readme and a prayer. Now you get a trailer and a releases page. My opinion: that polish matters. A trailer doesn’t prove the mod runs well on your rig. It does show the author cares about how the thing lands with people, and that’s a good sign.
How to try it: open the releases page, grab the latest build, and read whatever notes come with it before you launch anything. If you want to see it in motion first, watch the trailer and decide from there.
