Vita Auto Brings Wired Android Auto Support to the PS Vita
Vita Auto provides native wired Android Auto support for modded PS Vita consoles with full video and audio.

Hobbyists looking to repurpose old handheld hardware can now turn a modded PS Vita into a wired Android Auto head unit thanks to a new release called Vita Auto by developer Gavwalsh15. Running the session natively on the console, this first public release handles video output, touchscreen inputs, and physical button navigation.
Working features include music and navigation audio, microphone support, and full control mappings. The D-pad and analogue sticks handle navigation, while shoulder buttons skip tracks, Triangle toggles play and pause, and Square triggers voice commands. Setup requires a modded Vita, an Android phone, and a powered USB OTG adapter, alongside the included kernel USB plugin.
In my view, seeing hardware from the PlayStation Vita era pulled into modern car dashboards shows the sheer stubborn creativity of the homebrew scene. Long after official support died, hackers keep finding weird new ways to keep these OLED handhelds relevant on the road.
