TLOU2 VR mod "No Return" shows up in a gameplay preview
A gameplay preview of "No Return," a TLOU2 total conversion VR mod, is on YouTube. No download or install details yet.
A new VR mod for The Last of Us Part II is out in the wild, and so far all anyone has is a video. The mod is called “No Return,” and a gameplay preview is up on YouTube. A user on r/virtualreality found it and posted it under the title “TLOU2 Total Conversion VR Mod | No Return Gameplay Preview.”
That’s about it. The post doesn’t say which platform the mod runs on, what hardware you’d need, or whether a download exists. “Total conversion” suggests bigger changes than a camera bolted onto the game, but the source doesn’t spell out what gets converted. Don’t read more into the title than the video shows.
Why care? A preview tells you the project exists and runs well enough to film. It doesn’t tell you it’s ready for anyone else. VR mods for flat games often sit at the video stage for a long time, and the poster’s “every day I’m discovering new VR mods” mood is exactly how hype runs ahead of releases.
You can’t try it yet. There’s no build, no install steps, no version number in the source. If you want other projects that bring flat games into VR while you wait, look at UEVR and Flat2VR. Those are separate projects, and nothing in this post says No Return uses either one.
Watch for a download page, a platform and version, and a creator post with install notes. Until then, it’s a good video and a question mark.
