Insaniquarium! Deluxe Lands on PS Vita
PopCap's classic fish simulator hits the PS Vita via a brand new native port, complete with touchscreen support.

PS Vita owners can finally feed virtual fish and fight aliens on handheld hardware. Developer KartingSackboy06 just dropped Insaniquarium! Deluxe v1.00 for the platform.
Loading times were initially brutal at nine minutes, but the developer squeezed them down to about thirty seconds. After the title screen, the game locks in at a solid 36 fps. Controls are fully mapped to the handheld’s layout and touchscreens. The front and rear touch panels handle feeding and fighting, while physical buttons take care of menus, bubbles, and the Presto Change-O.
Here is how to get it running:
- Grab your own legal copy of the game from Steam since no game files come with the build.
- Download the .vpk build from the GitHub repository.
- Follow the readme installation instructions.
Watch out for a soft lock if you try opening the on-screen keyboard while in a pause menu. The developer notes that university studies might slow down future updates, but quality of life patches are on the horizon.
